The first seat of Colón's Municipality is not known, and the earliest trace leads to the Port Quarter, in Ángel Antonini's property, more accurately in the present hostel, that had to be left when the rental period was over. Previous steps initiated by the municipal president, Miguel Sabatier, accomplished to find a new place located at the corner of Urquiza and Brown streets, from where it moved again to Urquiza Street, between Esteva Berga and Leandro Alem Street.
In 1911 a new building was raised for the administration and it was inaugurated on January 9, 1913.
